The additive comes in pre-measured tubs, so there’s no guesswork. You simply stir it into your Hardwax Oil Ultra Clear as you apply it. The result is a strong, durable coating. Treatex say it can last anywhere from 3 to 10 years, depending on wear.

How to Apply Treatex R12 Anti-Slip Additive

1. First, apply a coat of Hardwax Oil Ultra Clear as normal. Leave it to dry for 3-6 hours
2. Next, stir the Hardwax Oil tin thoroughly. Its wax content can settle at the bottom
3. Then mix in the pre-measured tub of R12 additive. Stir well, and keep stirring as you work
4. After that, apply a second coat of Hardwax Oil Ultra Clear with the R12 additive mixed in
5. Finally, leave the floor to dry for a further 3-6 hours before use

Sizes Available

This additive comes in two sizes. Choose 50g for a 1.0L tin of Hardwax Oil Ultra Clear, or 125g for a 2.5L tin.

Safety & Restrictions

• Only use this as an additive to Treatex Hardwax Oil Ultra Clear. It’s not a standalone product
• Stir it thoroughly, and keep stirring during use, since the additive can settle
