How to Apply Filltite Fill & Finish Fine Surface Interior Filler

1. Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust and grease
2. Apply the filler with a filling knife or spreader, up to 2mm deep per coat
3. Smooth level with the surrounding surface
4. Leave to dry — at 2mm depth this takes around 12 hours, though drying time varies with substrate, temperature and application thickness
5. Once dry, the surface can be painted directly — no sanding required
6. If painting over with a gloss or satin finish, apply a primer first before your topcoat

Coverage

Approximately 1.5kg covers 6m² at 2mm depth per coat. Coverage will vary depending on surface texture and application depth. The 330g tube is ideal for small touch-ups; the 1.5kg tub suits larger preparation jobs.
