The white that stays white. Old solvent glosses go yellow on doors behind curtains and in dark hallways — this one is water based and non-yellowing, so it still looks clean years later. Mid-sheen satin, so smart without the hard shine of gloss. Self-undercoating on sound surfaces, six hours between coats, and low odour enough to do a hallway on a Sunday. 750ml or 2.5 litre.
Please note colour swatches are not exact representations of the colours and will vary in apperance on screen.
Dulux Satinwood Brilliant White is the go-to finish for interior woodwork. It gives a mid-sheen satin that sits between matt and gloss, smart without the hard shine, and it stays white rather than yellowing off over the years.
That last point matters more than it sounds. Old solvent-based glosses go yellow, particularly on doors behind curtains or in rooms that get little daylight. This is water based and non-yellowing, so a white door still looks white a few years on.
Up to 16m² per litre. A 750ml tin gives around 12m² per coat, roughly two average interior doors with two coats. The 2.5 litre covers around 40m² per coat, which suits a full set of doors and skirtings in one go.
Pure Brilliant White, a clean bright white in a satin sheen. If you want a softer neutral instead, we stock the same paint in nine other shades including Magnolia, Natural Calico, and Timeless.
Choose 750ml or 2.5 litre from the options above. The 750ml suits a couple of doors or a room of skirtings. Go for the 2.5 litre if you are working through a whole house.
