Dulux Quick Dry Eggshell Brilliant White gives interior wood and metal a smooth, low-sheen finish that’s easy to maintain. It’s self-undercoating, so you can go straight onto previously painted surfaces without a separate primer — and it dries faster than traditional oil-based eggshell, so you can get two coats done in a day.

The water-based formula is low odour and easy to clean up, making it a practical choice for painting woodwork, doors, windows, radiators and metal surfaces around the home. It’s also formulated to stay white, so the finish won’t yellow over time.

How to Apply Dulux Quick Dry Eggshell Brilliant White

1. Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust and grease
2. On bare or unpainted surfaces, apply a suitable primer first. On previously painted surfaces, Dulux Quick Dry Eggshell is self-undercoating and can go on direct
3. Stir thoroughly before use
4. Apply with a brush or roller in smooth, even strokes
5. Leave 6 hours between coats
6. Apply a second coat for full coverage and durability
7. Do not close newly painted doors or windows until the paint is fully dry — this can cause the surfaces to stick together

Coverage

Dulux Quick Dry Eggshell Brilliant White covers 16m² per litre. A 750ml tin covers approximately 12m² over two coats; a 2.5L tin covers approximately 40m² over two coats. Coverage will vary depending on surface texture and porosity.
