Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Matt protects timber, metal, masonry, plastic, concrete, and cladding. It sheds water and recoats in just 1 hour.

This paint is self-priming. So you often won’t need a separate primer. It goes straight over old paint, even gloss, bitumen, tar, or creosote. No sanding needed. It won’t darken when wet. The flexible film even bridges small cracks, up to 0.5mm wide.

How to Apply AllCoat Exterior Matt

1. First, remove any mould or mildew.
2. We advise using Zinsser Cleaner & Degreaser first, to clear grease and dirt.
3. Sanding isn’t usually needed, even on gloss.
4. Apply the first coat with a brush, roller, pad, or sprayer.
5. Let it touch dry for about 1 hour.
6. Recoat after 1 hour for full protection.
7. Leave to cure. Full cure takes 7 days.

Coverage

Covers up to 12m² per litre. Touch dry in 1 hour. Recoat after 1 hour. Fully cured after 7 days.

Colour

Comes ready-made in White and Black. Also comes in Pastel, Deep, and Clear tint bases, mixed to any BS, RAL, or NCS colour.
