Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Gloss protects wood, metal, masonry, plastic, concrete, and cladding. It’s self-priming. So you usually won’t need a separate primer.

This paint goes straight over old paint. That includes gloss, bitumen, tar, varnish, or creosote. No sanding needed. The first coat seals the surface. The second coat adds extra protection.

How to Apply AllCoat Exterior Gloss

1. First, remove any mould or mildew.
2. We advise using Zinsser Cleaner & Degreaser first, to clear grease and dirt.
3. Sanding isn’t usually needed, even on gloss.
4. Apply the first coat with a brush, roller, pad, or sprayer.
5. Let it touch dry for about 1 hour.
6. Recoat after 1 hour for full protection.
7. Leave to cure. Full cure takes 7 days.

Coverage

Covers up to 12m² per litre. Touch dry in 1 hour. Recoat after 1 hour. Fully cured after 7 days.

Colour

Comes ready-made in White and Black. Mixed to any BS, RAL, or NCS colour.
