One coat and it's finished — no undercoat, no second pass, guaranteed. Proper high gloss shine, and it works inside and out, so the same tin does your skirtings and your front door. Solvent-based, so allow 16 hours to dry and clean up with brush cleaner. Worth knowing that solvent glosses yellow over time, faster in dark rooms, so ask us about the water-based range if lasting whiteness matters more than shine. 750ml or 2.5 litre.
Please note colour swatches are not exact representations of the colours and will vary in apperance on screen.
Dulux Once Gloss gives a full high gloss finish in a single coat, guaranteed. No undercoat, no second pass. One thick, even coat on primed or painted wood and metal and the job is done.
It works inside and out, so the same tin covers a front door, window frames, skirtings, and railings. This is a solvent-based gloss, which means a proper deep shine but also a 16 hour drying time and brush cleaner rather than water for the clean up.
Dulux do not permit online sale of this product. Please contact our team or call in and we will order it for you.
Up to 12m² per litre. A 750ml tin covers around 9m², and the 2.5L around 30m². As this is a one coat paint, those figures are the finished job rather than a single pass.
Leave 16 hours to dry. Do not close newly painted doors or windows, and do not heat radiators, until the paint is fully dry, or you risk the paint sticking and pulling.
Dulux are upfront about this, and so are we. Solvent-based paints discolour over time, and the process is faster in rooms with little natural or UV light. A dark hallway or a door behind a curtain will yellow sooner than a bright, south-facing room. If long term whiteness matters more to you than a deep gloss shine, ask us about the water-based Dulux Quick Dry range instead.
Pure Brilliant White is the only colour Dulux make in this product.
Made in 750ml, and 2.5L. All three are order in-store only, so please speak to our team.
Scrape leftover paint back into a container to reuse. Clean brushes with a proper brush cleaner immediately after use, then let the solids settle so you can pour off and reuse the clear liquid. Air-dry your brushes and store them somewhere dry. Take leftover solids and used cleaner to a hazardous waste facility.
One coat, a proper deep shine, and no undercoat needed. Dulux Once Gloss is the quickest route to finished woodwork.
