Flat sandpaper fights you on anything that isn't flat, which is why the Axus Decor Arystox pad has a flexible foam backing that moves with skirting, spindles, handrails and panelled doors instead of bridging over them. The ceramic grain underneath keeps re-sharpening itself as you sand, and a non-stick coating keeps it clear of dust and old paint, wet or dry. It's double-sided too, so one pad gives you two goes before it's spent. Available as a twin pack in 60 Extra-Coarse, 80 Coarse, 120 Medium or 180 Fine, or as a 10-pack with all four grits included.
Skirting boards, spindles, handrails and other shaped trim don’t sand well with something rigid, and that’s exactly where the Axus Decor Arystox ceramic sanding pad earns its keep. Its flexible foam backing bends around curves and profiles while keeping full contact with the surface, so you don’t dig in on one edge and skate over the next.
Underneath, it uses the same ceramic oxide grain as the rest of the Arystox range: a microcrystalline structure that keeps fracturing to expose fresh cutting edges, so it outlasts a standard aluminium oxide pad. A non-stick coating keeps dust and old paint from building up on the surface, and you can reach for it whether the job calls for wet sanding or dry.
You’ll find the Arystox pad in twin packs of a single grit: 60 Extra-Coarse, 80 Coarse, 120 Medium or 180 Fine. It also comes in a 10-pack that mixes all four together, useful when a job runs through several stages of prep.
Whether you’re working a flat wall or easing round a spindle, the Arystox ceramic sanding pad is built to flex with the job and keep on cutting.
