Holds a proper amount of paste, so fewer trips back to the bucket. The Fit For The Job Paste Block Brush is built for getting paste on quickly. The head holds a large volume, so you cover more wall per dip and spend less time going back to the bucket.

The real advantage is the push fitting in the handle. Screw on an extension pole and you can paste the top of a wall from the floor, which is exactly what you want with paste the wall papers. No moving a ladder every drop.

Key Features of the Fit For The Job Paste Block Brush
  • High capacity head that loads plenty of paste each time
  • 100% synthetic filaments for smooth delivery and easy cleaning
  • Soft grip handle with a ribbed thumb area for extra purchase
  • Push fitting for extension poles
  • Head measures 12cm x 3cm, roughly 4 inches wide
  • Suitable for all types of wallpaper paste

Where to Use
    • Paste the wall papers and non-woven wallcoverings
    • Pasting the back of traditional papers on a table
    • Lining paper before painting or papering
    • Borders and feature walls
    • Ceilings, using an extension pole
    • Sizing walls before hanging

How to Use the Fit For The Job Paste Block Brush
  1. Mix your paste and let it stand as the packet instructs.
  2. Fit an extension pole if you are pasting the wall rather than the paper.
  3. Load the head, then press the excess off against the side of the bucket.
  4. Work the paste on in even strokes, covering slightly wider than your drop.
  5. Go right into the corners and edges, as thin spots there cause lifting later.
  6. Hang your paper while the paste is still wet.
  7. Wash the brush out in warm water straight after use.

Paste the Wall or Paste the Paper

Both work with this brush. For paste the wall papers, apply directly to the wall one drop at a time and hang the paper dry. For traditional papers, paste the back on a table and let it soak as the manufacturer directs. The high capacity head suits either method, but it comes into its own on the wall with a pole fitted.

Cleaning

Synthetic filaments release paste easily, so a rinse in warm water usually does it. Wash it out straight away rather than later, because dried wallpaper paste sets hard in the base of the head and is very difficult to shift. Reshape the head and let it air dry.

Sizes Available

Safety & Restrictions
  • Keep out of reach of children
