Two sleeves instead of one, which sounds minor until you are halfway through a room and the ceiling needs a different colour. Swap the sleeve and carry on rather than washing one out and waiting for it to dry. Medium pile suits interior walls and copes with light Artex, the handle takes a pole for ceilings, and the tray is recycled plastic that washes out and lasts years.

The Fit For The Job Emulsion Roller Set is a four piece kit with two sleeves rather than one, and that second sleeve is the reason to buy it. Doing a room in two colours means one sleeve for each, so you are not stood at the sink washing a roller out halfway through the job.
The sleeves are medium pile, which is the right depth for interior walls. Deep enough to hold a decent amount of emulsion and cope with a bit of texture, shallow enough to leave a flat finish rather than a stippled one.
Most rooms end up with a different colour on the ceiling to the walls, or a feature wall. With one sleeve that means a proper wash out and a wait for it to dry before you carry on, and a damp roller thins the next colour. Two sleeves removes the problem entirely. It also means a spare if the first one starts shedding.
Wash the sleeves out in warm water while the emulsion is still wet, working your fingers into the pile until the water runs clear. Squeeze out the excess, reshape, and stand them on end to dry. The tray washes out in warm water too and will last for years.
Supplied as a 9″ x 1.5″ four piece set with two sleeves. Fit For The Job also make a three piece with one sleeve and a five piece with three, plus a long pile version for rough exterior masonry.
Two sleeves, a pole fitting, and a tray that lasts. The Fit For The Job Emulsion Roller Set covers a full room properly. Order yours today.
