The Blackrock Eazi-Breathe FFP3 Fold Flat Respirator is a disposable dust mask rated to EN149:2001+A1:2009 FFP3 — the highest protection class for a disposable respirator. It folds flat when not in use, so it fits in a pocket or a tool bag rather than getting crushed.
When you put it on, the Fold2Fit sculpted panels mould to the shape of your face, which is what gives it the close fit that an FFP3 rating requires. The Turbo Exhalation Valve keeps exhaled air moving out quickly, so the inside of the mask stays cool when you are wearing it for a while.

How to Fit the Eazi-Breathe FFP3 Fold Flat Respirator
- Open the mask out from its folded position.
- Cup it in your hand with the nose bridge at your fingertips.
- Place it over your mouth and nose, letting the straps hang below your chin.
- Pull the straps up and over your head, positioning them above and below your ears.
- Press the metal nose bridge firmly down with both hands so it seals to your nose.
- Perform a fit check: cover the exhalation valve and breathe out. If air escapes around the edges, readjust and repeat.
FFP3 vs FFP2 vs FFP1
FFP ratings define how much airborne material a mask filters out. FFP1 is the entry level. FFP2 is the class required for many construction and renovation tasks. FFP3 is the highest class and filters out at least 99% of airborne particles. If you are unsure which rating a job requires, check the safety data sheet for the material you are working with or speak to a qualified health and safety adviser.
