The Blackrock Eazi-Breathe FFP2 Fold Flat Respirator is a disposable dust mask rated to EN149:2001+A1:2009 FFP2 — the protection class required for most construction, renovation, and decorating tasks that generate airborne dust and particles. It folds flat for pocketing between jobs, and the Fold2Fit sculpted panels mould to the shape of your face once you put it on.

The Turbo Exhalation Valve lets exhaled air out quickly, so the mask stays comfortable during a full day’s work rather than becoming hot and uncomfortable within the hour.

How to Fit the Eazi-Breathe FFP2 Fold Flat Respirator

1. Open the mask out from its folded position.
2. Cup it in your hand with the nose bridge at your fingertips.
3. Place it over your mouth and nose, letting the straps hang below your chin.
4. Pull the straps up and over your head, positioning them above and below your ears.
5. Press the metal nose bridge firmly down with both hands so it seals against your nose.
6. Perform a fit check: cover the exhalation valve and breathe out. If air escapes around the edges, readjust and repeat.

FFP2 or FFP3?

FFP2 filters out at least 94% of airborne particles and covers the majority of construction and renovation tasks. FFP3 filters out at least 99% and is required for higher risk environments, including tasks involving certain carcinogenic or highly toxic dusts.
